Stuttgart Indoors
Here are some indoors pictures from various places in Stuttgart: Hauptbahnhof (the Main Train Station), Maybachstrasse (an underground station north of Stuttgart), Stiftskirche (Main church of the evangelical faith in Baden-Württemberg), Württembergische Landesmuseum (a kind of history museum), inside the fantastic department store Karstadt and the Mercedes Museum. The Germans have a problem with English, so the history museum had only signs in German for example. Many homepages are in German only, but Mercedes's one is ok and in English! Every week I hope to win on the lottery, and then I will pay the amount visible in the last picture for a brand new Mercedes. Stuttgart has the best shopping in all Germany, at least what we have seen this far. We have visited quite a lot German cities and Stuttgart beats Munich, Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne easily. On New Year's Day I visited Stiftskirche and participated in the service. I had never visited a foreign church before, and it was kind of exhilarating to say the Lord's Prayer and the Confession of my faith in German.
