Bruges

Bruges, the favourite of all guidebooks. Wonderful to take walks in and so on. Yes, all of these things are true, but when you have walked in the city for an hour or so, you want to go to the coast or Brussels. There are strikingly few sights, even though the whole town can be counted as a city museum.
