| Ehrenmal in Tiergarten |
| The Russians built monuments all around Berlin in memory of their capture of Berlin. The Tiergarten happened unfortunately for the Russians to be in the British sector and then the fine monument was in West Berlin, and not in the East. The Russian soldiers was granted access to the Ehrenmal anyway, even though many West Berliners did not like it. |
