Torgau
Torgau is only famous for one thing in history, and that is that it was the meeting-point for the American and Soviet forces 25 April in World War II. The railway bridge was demolished in 1994, so there is not much left of it, only a small fraction of it is visible in the first picture. Pictures 10 and 11 also show that small fraction. In picture 10 a water level mark can be seen, and in 2002 the water reached 9,5 metres! The castle of Hartenfels can be found in the last picture. It was used as barracks from 1818.
