Västerås - a Beautiful City
My girlfriend and I have visited Västerås a number of times, and we have fallen in love with the city. It was built in the 12. Century and has developed a lot since then. Today we can see beautiful buildings all over the town. The number of things on offer here is fantastic and shopping is therefore a delight. We stayed at the Ibis as usual, so the second last picture is Ibis Hotel. The city centre is enclosed by a city road system, which is called the City Ring. This makes me think of Berlin. The photos were taken both in June 2003 and October 2004.
